Usage:
Potassium iodate is sometimes used for iodination of table salt, and as source for iodine. It is also an ingredient in baby formula milk, and as a rapid oxidizing agent used for strengthening flour.
Storage & Handling:
Store in a cool, dry covered facility, away from direct sunlight, and ensure that the bag is closed properly after use. All iodine based products are unstable, particularly in humid and/or sunny conditions.
